Pierre Teodosio Felix, also known as πr, is a Brazilian biologist, professor, researcher, scientific disseminator and writer. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco, a Master's degree in Genetics from the Federal University of Pernambuco and a PhD in Genetics from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He is currently Full Professor and Researcher of the University Center of Vitória de Santo Antão (UNIVISA) where he also acts as: Coordinator of the Research Center (NUPEQ), Coordinator of the Academic Monitoring Center (NUMA), Member of the Own Evaluation Committee (CPA), Editor-in-Chief of the Journal Athos Of Integrated Studies, Coordinator of the Ethics Committee (CEP/CONEP/MS), Leader of the group of molecular research and bioinformatics of fungi of industrial interest of UNIVISA (UNIGEN), Leader of the research group on population genetics and evolution (GPOP) and Chief Researcher of the Laboratory of Population Genetics & Computational Evolutionary Biology (LaBECom), besides being part of the research group conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity caatinga: UFRPE:DGP/CNPQ: Brazil. He also serves as scientific reviewer of ELSEVIER BV GROUP: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, NL, as Editorial Board Member of COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY AND BIOINFORMATICS (CBB): New York, New York, US, as Editorial Board Member of journal of PHARMACEUTICAL AND BIOPHARMACEUTICAL RESEARCH (JPBR): Paya Lebar  Square, Singapore, SG and as Editor-in-Chief of IJS INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCES: São Paulo, São Paulo, BR. In addition to participating in COVID-19 COMMUNITY: Berlin and COVID-19 ANALYSIS NETWORK: Brazil, it also composes the DATABASE OF RESEARCHERS ON THE NEW CORONAVIRUS AND COVID-19: Brazil and coronavirus method development community: Protocols IO, Berkeley, USA.  The Professor Pierre is also institutional evaluator of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira, INEP/MEC: Brazil and his experience as a researcher is in the area of GENETICS, with emphasis on Population Genetics and Molecular Evolution, working mainly on the following topics: Population Genetics, Bioinformatics, Phylogeny, Phylogeography, Molecular Evolution, Molecular Cytogenetics, Molecular Genetics and Human Genetics,  with 03 (three) books published in the areas of POPULATION GENETICS, BIOINFORMATICS and MOLECULAR EVOLUTION. In his works we can find more than 40 scientific articles, three books and an application, with appearances on SBT, Radios and Various Newspapers.

Pierre Teodosio Felix, também conhecido por πr, é um biólogo, professor, pesquisador, divulgador científico e escritor brasileiro. Graduou-se Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco no ano de 2000, Mestre em Genética pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco em 2002 e Doutor em Genética pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco no ano de 2013. Atualmente é Professor Titular e Pesquisador do Centro Universitário da Vitória de Santo Antão (UNIVISA) onde também atua como: Coordenador do Núcleo de Pesquisas (NUPEQ), Coordenador do Núcleo de Monitoria Acadêmica (NUMA), Membro da Comissão Própria de Avaliação (CPA), Editor-Chefe da Revista Athos de Estudos Integrados, Coordenador do Comitê de Ética (CEP/CONEP/MS), Líder do grupo de pesquisas moleculares e bioinformática de fungos de interesse industrial da UNIVISA (UNIGEN), Líder do grupo de pesquisas em genética de populações e evolução (GPOP) e Pesquisador-Chefe do laboratório de genética de populações & biologia evolutiva computacional (LaBECom), além de integrar o Grupo de Pesquisa conservação e uso sustentável da biodiversidade da caatinga: UFRPE: DGP/CNPQ: Brasil. Também atua como Revisor cientifico do GRUPO ELSEVIER BV: Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, NL, como Membro do corpo editorial da COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY AND BIOINFORMATICS (CBB): New York, New York, US, como Membro do corpo editorial do JOURNAL OF PHARMACEUTICAL AND BIOPHARMACEUTICAL RESEARCH (JPBR): Paya Lebar Square, Singapore, SG e como Editor-Chefe da IJS INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF SCIENCES: São Paulo, São Paulo, BR. O Professor Pierre também é AVALIADOR INSTITUCIONAL do Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira, INEP/MEC: Brasil e a sua experiência como pesquisador é na área de GENÉTICA, com ênfase em Genética de Populações e Evolução Molecular, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Genética de Populações, Bioinformática, Filogenia, Filogeografia, Evolução Molecular, Citogenética Molecular, Genética Molecular e Genética Humana, com 03 (três) livros publicados nas áreas da GENÉTICA DE POPULAÇÕES, da BIOINFORMÁTICA e EVOLUÇÃO MOLECULAR. Em seus trabalhos podemos encontrar mais de 40 artigos científicos, três livros e um aplicativo, com aparições na SBT, Rádios e Jornais diversos.
